April 5, 2004 -- Legend Design Technology, Inc. has announced that Marvell has adopted CharFlo-Memory! to characterize embedded memory instances for its next-generation SRAM, Register File and ROM requirements. Based upon layout-extracted circuit data with resistors and capacitors, Legend's CharFlo-Memory! toolset has the capacity to generate accurate on-chip memory instance models at any PVT (process, voltage and temperature ) corner.

"Marvell's high performance, cost effective SoC designs are supported by a wide selection of embedded compiled and customized memories which require high-quality timing and power models to achieve optimum performance and silicon success. Legend's CharFlo-Memory! has enabled us to automate the characterization process for both compiled and specialized memory instances.
