May 18, 2004 -- Dolphin Technology, Inc. and Legend Design Technology, Inc. have announced that Dolphin Technology successfully validated Legend's circuit simulator MSIM for signal integrity analysis of high-speed IO circuits, and timing and power characterization of standard/IO cell library for deep sub-micron and nanometer technology.

"For 90nm technology, BSIM4 model including the enhanced stress effects or LOD model is critical for both timing and power simulation, especially in leakage power. MSIM circuit simulator with BSIM4.3.0 model has been well proven in delivering silicon-accurate results," said Mo Tamjidi, president and CEO at Dolphin Technology. "Besides stringent requirements for the timing, power and functional simulation of our high-speed IO designs, we also perform signal integrity analysis and frequency-domain simulations.
